Welcome back to the new and Improved Demo Update Version 2!

Not much has been changed, however after receiving some input regarding the spawn and gunplay, a few changes have been made to further integrate the Demo with the work in progress full launch. More details will be listed below in the development notes.


Speaking of the full game, development has been continuing and fleshing out a variety of new droid enemies, as well as the brand new location which will be explored through the game. There may be development builds released along the way, which will help identify different bugs and possible improvements that could be made. Demo Update 2 Release Notes:

  • Modified enemy count from 17 to 20
    • Number of B2 Battle Droids and Commander Droids remains the same
    • Three Turret Emplacements have been placed down. Two emplacements are placed behind walls, while the "Boss" emplacement with increased health is situated on an extended platform in the back of the simulation map.
  • Modified Layout for the map. Includes:
    • Two New Walls placed towards the center. These walls can be used as cover from the opposing turret emplacements
    • Two New extended platforms
  • Player Spawn Relocated
    • Relocated to one of the new extended platforms
  • Shotgun Firing Mode Fix
    • Aiming down sights will now be situated at the top of the blaster, rather than obscuring vision
  • Droid Enemies should no longer float
    • If you play through and notice they are above the ground still, please reach out in a comment
  • Increased Strength of the Launcher Mode
    • The strength of the Launcher has been increased by 25x. This should make the launcher much more viable for use alongside the Blaster and Shotgun modes
  • Changed Blaster Mode Firing Rate
    • Delay between firing has been reduced from .3 to .2. This gives the weapon a slightly faster rate of fire
  • Added Patrol Paths for Enemy Units
    • Three different patrol paths have been added
    • Droids will now follow these patrol paths around the map, which should allow for more variance in gameplay. 
    • Beware, as once the droids spot you, they will deviate from their patrol path and pursue you until defeated

Current Issues:

  • Not all enemy droids are following Patrol Paths properly and collide.
  • Turrets dont seem to be fully affected by Launcher Mode
    • HINT: Shotgun is best for taking out turrets
  • Gravity not working for all enemy units yet. 
  • On occasion, a Commander Droid will not die when shot, and its hitbox will disappear
    • If this is encountered, usually it will blow up after a period of time
      • If it does not, try to avoid it until it fixes itself
